Thanks to Cameron Buettel!
I must confess that I am intensely frustrated at so many mega church pastors signing on to the “Evangelical Climate Initiative”. Pope Al Gore clearly holds a lot of sway these days with 85 evangelical leaders jumping onto his global warming train. Let’s just hope that it’s a train with a carbon neutral footprint.
As an Australian living in Scandinavia, I see the prospect of global warming as a highly enticing prospect. And I am fiercely determined not to let Al Gore and all his clergy stand in the way of my dream of wearing shorts in December. I’ve invested heavily in this vision too and stand to make a killing. Not many people have the foresight to open a surf shop 50 miles from the coast of Norway. But when the icecaps melt and the global warming really kicks in, Norway will be the new Hawaii. And when the oceans rise my surfshop will be right on the beach. I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am about this. Of course, the Norwegians are very concerned about rising sea levels which is why they’re killing so many whales to keep it low – so don’t try and tell me that the Norgies don’t care about the environment OK!!! But the un-inconvenient truth is that if someone shut off the power to Al Gore’s house the holes in the ozone layer would close up in one fell swoop anyway.
But what about the mega church dudes crying over the environment. I mean, if there was an 11th commandment it would have to be about using bio-degradable communion cups wouldn’t it. I must confess to always being a doubter when it comes to finding a biblical basis for global warming but then I stumbled upon it in the New Testament. How could I have doubted, how could I have been so wrong for so long . . .
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
We’re not talking warm here – this is scorching. This is a fire that’s coming, and it’s unquenchably hot, and everlasting, and the only way of avoiding it is by crying out to the Savior in repentant faith.
Here’s a GLOBAL WARNING to any preacher dancing with environmental causes – the Gospel of Jesus Christ is mankinds only hope so get busy preaching it – in season, out of season, and before the season of the Lord’s return.
Time is running out.
Mighty Oak. “Behold also the ships which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.” James 3:4.
What a great truth and encouragement this is for us all, we may at times feel very small and insignificant, but God see’s us as a rudder that He can use to guide His church. Our Lord still uses His twelve disciples to reach entire nations, even today, for the words that He put into their mouths is still heard throughout the whole world, and although sometimes His church seems to go off course, yet these words which were given to His disciples soon puts His church back on course, praise the Lord.
Do you remember how Jesus used a little boy’s basket which contained two fish and five loaves of bread, which He gave to His disciples, who then gave them to the multitudes for they had multiplied? Yes, through His disciples even today He feeds His church, how wonderful our God is. Now, you may feel very small and insignificant, but if you could only see yourself as God sees you, then you would indeed see that you to can be a rudder on God’s great cruise liner, or you could see yourself with that basket which can feed multitudes.
I am also reminded of a small seed which when it falls to the ground it soon germinates and comes alive and grows up into a mighty oak. So, let us never feel that we are too small for God, for our Lord has always done great things with people who were in this world eyes, as nothing and made them something, praise the Lord.
Just see who our Lord has used in the Bible to touch nations and kingdoms from those who came from such humble beginnings. Moses, a son of a Hebrew slave, King David, from a shepherd boy, St Peter, a fisherman, and St Paul, a humble tent maker, and many more the list just goes on and on. So, you see, we must never feel that we are insignificant, for God see’s us as magnificent, praise the Lord
“For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” 1Corinthians 1:26,27.

2 Peter 3;10-12
I have been preaching about global warming to the congregation I serve for a while now. We must recognize global warming for what it is. Global warming as a man made consequence is against scripture. Global warming as something man can stop is against scripture. Christians are called to be good stewards, but not to stand in God’s place as creator and soveriegn Lord. He will one day judge this earth. He will see this earth and all in it melt.
Those who claim man is the cause and holds the cure for global warming likely holds to views contrary to scripture on more issues than global warming. Most people in the camp of man made global warming and man produced cures for global warming also doubt a Holy God would judge a people He created. They also think a Righteous God would never think His creation wrong when they engage in activity the Bible calls sin. These people deny the authority of scripture. They also deny Christ Lordship over their lives.
I am not putting all Christians in the same boat for believing global warming is man made, but I am asking them to read the book called the Bible for it gives all things necessary to goliness and holiness.

Hi! I have found Global warming in the bible. It’s always been there, it’s nothing new. Please open your bibles right now and read Gen.1:6. I hope you read from many different translations, doing so will give you a real clear picture. In Gen 1:6 it says that God was going to create a distance between the waters covering the earth and the waters above surrounding the earth. Two bodies of water, one covering, one above. There are only two ways to move water in such a manner. One, is gravity, the other is heat. Since one body of water in Gen1:6 went up it had to be heat. It goes on to saythat these waters above created a dome ceiling, a water canopy, called iit often the “Heavens”. It was the “flood gates of heaven” that caused the flood. thats enough for now I could go on
Global warming. IT GOING TO GET A LOT HOTTER.
Cast into the sea.
Today many people are so concerned about the environment, saying, “what shall we do with all our rubbish?” Well, God has no problem with rubbish, for He just casts it into the deepest sea. Do you remember where the evil spirits ended up which Jesus cast out of a mad man?
Well, they entered into a herd of pigs which ran off a cliff into the sea. Now Jesus is aware that many of us have huge amounts of rubbish in our lives, which we need to get rid of and for many of us these problems are as big as mountains. So, Jesus has provided the answer for us to get rid of them, in Mark 11 v 23,
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he sayeth shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he sayeth.”
If it is sickness, or financial or darkness of any description that afflicts you, then cast it into the deepest sea. I guess that is why the deeper the sea, the more hideous the sea creatures become. We have seen this in recent times as deep sea exploration has taken place.
The explanation for the evil looking deep sea creatures must come from all the evil that has been cast down to them over the centuries. In that darkness we see creation in it’s most darkest and hideous forms. But when we come into the light, hallelujah, we see creation at it’s most beautiful, like the birds of paradise in Papua New Guinea.
That is why we must always seek to walk in the light as Christ Jesus is the light of the world, and there is nothing more beautiful than Christ Jesus our wonderful Lord and Saviour. So cast your problems into the sea, and walk in the light.
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” St John 8 v 12.
